Year-Round Homeless Pet Food Drive
In 2003 Animal Care and Control joined with the SF SPCA to promote the Homeless Pet Food Drive' for dogs and cats belonging to the homeless.
ACC joins with Vet SOS and PAWS in a concerted effort to continue year-round collection of pet food as an outreach to the homeless pets and those residing in San Francisco that cannot afford to buy food for their pets.
Donations are received at ACC and distributed to Vet SOS and PAWS. The homeless and those unable to provide food for their pets are welcome to come and ask for assistance at ACC during operation hours. PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF ANY RECALL PET FOOD TO THE SHELTER.
